Intensive Stabilization, Assessment and Treatment Program

The Intensive Stabilization, Assessment and Treatment program is a staff secure and facility semi-secure cottage located on our main campus for a maximum of five older teenage boys. Each has his own bedroom, and their intensive clinical treatment, education and recreation is provided on-site.  Staffing ratios are higher than in our residential treatment dormitories, and the entire milieu team is managed by a masters' level clinician.

On-site medical and psychiatric services are provided on at least a weekly basis, including assessment, medication management and medically intensive services as indicated.  Psychological assessment and/or intervention is provided on-site for all ISAT clients, and increases in intensity for each client as needed.  Weekly 90 minute individual therapy, weekly family therapy and weekly group therapy all led by a master's level clinician.

General overview ISAT clients and their families can expect:

• Involved pre-admission process
• Intensive one-week Orientation, followed by a Phase system built on safety
• Participation in a structured intensive trauma sensitive safety plan
• Standardized screenings to clarify diagnosis and assist with treatment planning
• Specialty assessments contracted for at admission
• High staff to client ratios, providing intensive individual attention
• Discharge planning considered at admission
